Two girls have been taken to hospital after a car crash in West Malling last night.

The youngsters were trapped following the smash in Ashton Way at just before 6pm.

Fire crews rescued the children by cutting the roof off the car, which was the only vehicle involved in the crash.

Both girls were taken to hospital by ambulance. The extent of their injuries is unclear.
