Award-winning singer Example pleased crowds at Gallery nightclub, in Maidstone, on Saturday night.

Hundreds attended the club night in Bank Street to hear the star's most well-known hits, including Changed The Way You Kiss Me, Kickstarts, Say Nothing and Stay Awake.

The British artist is the latest celebrity booking for the popular nightspot. Clubbers have previously been treated to performances by rapper Tinie Tempah, superstar producer Timberland and Jason Derulo.

Cast members from reality television shows, such as The Only Way is Essex and Geordie Shore, often choose to spend their Saturday nights at Gallery.

Situated in the old Loder and Payne Building, the club opened to criticism in 2013 after asking potential employees to include a photo with their job application.

The town is no stranger to big music events. Last month, thousands of revellers from around the world packed into Mote Park for The Social festival.
