Maidstone is going green.

The Town Centre Management’s eco friendly jute bag, bearing the logo, It's in the Bag, will be officially launched next Friday in the Royal Star Arcade.

Then Monday June 23 to Friday, June 27 has been designated Maidstone Goes Green Week.

The week, being planned by Maidstone council and Kent County councils, TCM and Maidstone’s shopping centres, will include displays on compostng and collecting rain water and information about where people can recycle.
