Cars have been ploughing through huge puddles of water on a busy town-centre gyratory system this morning.

Drivers have faced delays on their morning commute due to water-logged roads in Maidstone.

Video shows motorists precariously trying to navigate the giant puddles formed by the rain.

Cars drove through puddles of water by the gyratory

Cars were seen creeping past Lidi and TruGym to try and avoid as much of it as possible.

Adding to the issue, the traffic lights have stopped working at the roundabout where the A249 meets Andrew Broughton Way from around 7.40am.
