Police appeal after taxi driver racially abused and car kicked in Lenham

Police are looking for two men after a taxi driver was racially abused when he wouldn't offer them a lift.

Officers have said the man was approached by two men with alcohol outside a hotel in Boughton Road, Sandway, Lenham, at around 10pm on September 27.

After being told they wouldn't get in the car with their drinks the suspects allegedly shouted racial abuse at the victim before repeatedly kicking the taxi.

A police spokesman said: "Officers investigating the allegations have been exploring several lines of enquiry and are now able to issue images of two men who they would like to speak to."
