Kent has escaped any serious snowfall overnight but one school has confirmed it will close today.

Many parts of the county saw flurries just after 10pm - but forecasters' predictions that it would settle appear to have been wide of the mark.

There are no major issues reported this morning, but KentOnline will have the latest travel news and school closures throughout today.

The snow has caused some issues in the west of the county.

The Knole estate in Sevenoaks has closed its house, car park, cafe and shop this morning due to snow and icy conditions.

The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for snow running until noon on Wednesday.
