Kent Test - how your child's school performed

SIXTY per cent of pupils who took the Kent Test this year passed.
The pass rate of the test, which decides which pupils can go on to grammar schools, is the same as last year.
We can now reveal the full details of how many children took and passed the test from each school in the area.
Across Maidstone, Malling and The Weald there were 2,680 pupils who were eligible for the exam. Of those, 1,388 took the test and 830 - 60 pr cent - passed and were awarded places at grammar schools.
However, it means that 1850 of the children who were eligible - or 69 per cent - will not be heading to a grammar school this autumn.
The Cabinet member for Education Operations, Resources and Skills, Mark Dance, said: "I’m very pleased more than half of the children who sat the Kent Test were assessed suitable for grammar school. I’m particularly delighted every single pupil who sat the test at three schools in Maidstone, Tonbridge and Malling and Tunbridge Wells are heading off to grammar school this September."
