Police called to Blue Bell Hill petrol station after alleged assault involving a knife

A man has been arrested after reportedly punching and threatening another man with a knife at a petrol station.

Kent Police was called at 3.25pm to reports of an assault at the Shell Petrol Station on the A229, Blue Bell Hill.

A man was reported to have been punched in the garage's forecourt and then threatened with a knife.

The teen was arrested yesterday.

A police spokesperson said: "Officers attended the scene and a male has been arrested on suspicion of assault and possessing an offensive weapon."
