Lambs hold up London-bound M20 between Junction 9 for Ashford and Junction 8 for Maidstone/Leeds Castle

Traffic is moving again after some baa-d sheep caused delays on the London-bound M20.

Motorists faced delays between Junction 9 for Ashford and Junction 8 for Maidstone services and Leeds Castle.

Highways England confirmed traffic was held up due to two lambs which had escaped from a nearby farm.

A Highways England spokesman said: "Two lambs had escaped from a damaged fence however traffic should now start moving as traffic offers and farmer have managed to contain the animals now."
