A man has been found dead in a parked vehicle at a service station on the M20.

Police were called at 9.49am this morning to concerns for the occupant of a vehicle parked at the Maidstone Motorway Services at Junction 8 for Hollingbourne.

Ambulance and fire crews also attended the scene and a man in his 40s was pronounced deceased.

A police spokesman said: “His death is not being treated as suspicious and a report is being completed for the coroner.”

His next of kin have been informed.

A Fire and Rescue Service spokesman confirmed crews also attended at 9.32am to assist.

Two fire engines and a height vehicle were pictured at the scene.
