Latest cases to appear at Maidstone Magistrates' Court

A driver found twice over the legal limit for alcohol is among the latest cases to appear at Maidstone Magistrates' Court.
Danny Cairns of Waterloo Road, Tonbridge pled guilty to drug driving after being found behind the wheel of a Ford Fiesta in Hamstead Lane, Yalding on June 16.
The 19-year-old gave a blood test of 3.5 microgrammes of cannabis per litre of blood. The legal limit is two microgrammes.
Magistrates banned Cairns from driving for 18 months. He must also pay a £120 fine, £85 costs and a £30 victim surcharge.
Alexandru Florian of Morton Way, Maidstone pleaded guilty to driving while unfit through drink and driving without insurance.
The 25-year-old was found intoxicated behind the wheel of a Toyota Yaris in Sheals Crescent, Maidstone on April 22.
Magistrates banned Florian from driving for 18 months. He must also pay a £600 fine, £85 costs and a £30 victim surcharge.
Disqualification can be reduced by 137 days if, by 12 March 2018, he satisfactorily completes a course approved by the Secretary of State, the cost of which will not exceed £250.
Edward Adams, of Quarry Road, Maidstone pleaded driving without a licence, driving without insurance and drink driving.
The 32-year-old drove his Mazda 6 in Quarry Road on June 19 and gave a breath test of 77 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.
Magistrates banned Adams from driving for 20 months. He must also pay a £240 fine, £85 costs and a £30 victim surcharge.
Disqualification can be reduced by 151 days if, by 12 October 2017, he satisfactorily completes a course approved by the Secretary of State, the cost of which will not exceed £250.
