A disabled would-be bus passenger said that the Arriva bus company needs to retrain some of its staff - after being refused permission to board a bus.

Roy Rowley turned away by driver

Roy Rowley is disabled with arthritis in his wrists and spine and holds a concessionary bus pass issued by Maidstone council.

But Mr Rowley, of Surrey Road, Shepway, is repeated told he cannot use the pass by one particular driver. He said: "She says the passes are only for retired people and at 46 I’m Too young.
