Traffic is building after a crash on the M20 this morning.

One lane is shut after a lorry and car collided at around 10.30am near Junction 8 for Maidstone Services and Leeds Castle.

There are queues tailing back up to four miles between Junction 8 and Junction 9 for Ashford as a result.

Traffic is causing delays of 30 minutes to normal travel times.

Kent Police are aware of the incident but patrols are not required at the scene.

There are not thought to be any injuries. Highways England is warning motorists to expect delays.

Delays had cleared by 2pm.
