A car fire on the M20 is causing severe delays between junctions five and seven.

Two lanes are closed on the coast-bound stretch of the motorway.

Kent Fire and Rescue service attended the scene at 9.55am and found a Volvo on fire.

No one in the car is reported to have any injuries and lane three is now open.

Lanes one and two are closed until fire crews can damp down the vehicle.
