Traffic had to be held on the M20 for recovery work after a crash.

Police temporarily closed the motorway to recover a vehicle which was trapped on the inside lane after crashing into a central reservation barrier between junctions eight and nine.

Kent Police was called to the incident on the coastbound carriageway just after 11am. The South East Coast Ambulance Service also attended.

Delays had eased by this afternoon.
