Woman hunted after man left needing stitches from being hit in eye in Maidstone early-hours row

Police have released an image of a woman they want to speak to after an assault in Maidstone town centre.

A 24-year-old man was hit in the eye when a row broke out between two groups of people in Week Street at the Earl Street junction.

He was left with a puncture wound needing stitches to his eyelid in the brawl at about 4am.

It happened on April 13, but police have only just released the CCTV image.

Witnesses or anyone with information is asked to phone Sgt Matthew King on 01622 604411, quoting crime reference YY/7283/14, or Kent Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
