A Maidstone man has been killed in a crash in Essex.
The 66-year-old died after the HGV he was driving struck a portable building at Purfleet Docks last night.
It is thought he may have suffered a medical incident behind the wheel.
The lorry also hit a gate and a sign in the accident, in London Road at 7pm.
The driver was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to Darent Valley Hospital where he died from his injuries.
The port was closed for around four hours while police carried out their investigation.
Inspector Steve Brewer said: "At this time it would appear the driver may have been taken ill at the wheel of his lorry and then lost control."
