Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a woman was groped and assaulted in a Maidstone nightclub.

The victim was allegedly targeted by a man in Dusk 2 Dawn sometime between 11.15pm and midnight on Friday, November 11.

It is reported that prior to this assault, the man indecently touched the woman at the King Street venue.

Police are keen to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or who may have spoken with the man earlier in the night.

The suspect is described as being white and 6ft 2ins tall with a large build. He is reported to have short, brown hair and spoke with a southern accent.

A 27-year-old man from Kings Hill has been arrested in connection to the incident. He has been bailed, pending further enquiries, until Friday, December 16.
