Big Brother contestant Callum Knell, from Maidstone

Former lifeguard Callum Knell is facing eviction from the Big Brother house for the second week running.

The 28-year-old, of Plains Avenue, Maidstone, received the most votes from his fellow housemates in the recent round of nominations.

He is up against Dexter Koh, Gina Rio, Jackie Travers, and twins Jack and Joe Glenny.

One of them will be ejected from the house on tonight’s live show. The football fan’s mum, Lin, and sister Karis, will be in the crowd.

Sister Tayla said: “It’s been really difficult to watch him the last week or so as he’s had a tough time. The feedback from outside the house seems positive but I don’t understand why some of the housemates don’t like him.

“We really hope the public keeps him in.”

The Maidstone-born sports coach has come under fire from other contestants who question how genuine he is and accuse him of being “too nice”.

Big Brother is on Channel 5 at 9pm.
