Women arrested in connection with stabbing in Edmett Way, Maidstone

Two women have been arrested after a man was stabbed.

The pair, aged 29 and 54, were arrested on the same day in connection with the attack on a man in Edmett Way, in Langley Park, Maidstone, at around 10.30am on Sunday.

They have since been bailed to return to the police station on November 20 and November 26.

The victim and the women are believed to be known to each other.

Kent Police confirmed the man, in his 30s, had an injury consistent with a stab wound.

He was treated by the South East Coast Ambulance Service and airlifted to a local hospital for medical attention.

He was later discharged.

Investigating officers are asking anybody who saw or heard an altercation in the area, or who has information that may help their investigation to call Kent Police on 01622 604 100, quoting crime reference 46/211076/19.
