Maidstone man arrested on suspicion of sexual grooming after self-styled paedophile hunter sting

A man has been arrested after allegedly talking to an under age girl online inappropriately.

Self-styled paedophile hunters arrived at the door of a 34-year-old man's Maidstone home and called police after putting the accusations to him.

A video of the incident has been shared nearly 100 times online.

A spokesman from Kent Police said: "At 4.40pm on Friday officers attended a property in the Maidstone area and arrested a 34-year-old man on suspicion of sexual grooming.

"He was later released on bail pending further inquiries."
