Drew Morris charged for reportedly pouring boiling water over two pensioners in Halstead burglary

Detectives investigating an aggravated burglary in Halstead, where two pensioners had boiling water poured onto them have charged a third person after a Kent Police appeal for information.
Drew Morris, 26, was arrested in Basildon, Essex on Saturday.
Morris of Downhall Road, Rayleigh, Essex has been charged with two counts of grievous bodily harm, two counts of false imprisonment and aggravated burglary, following an incident at a property in London Road, Halstead, on April 26 this year.
He appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court today, where he was remanded into custody.
Morris will next appear at Maidstone Crown Court on October 11.
Kacey Adams, 33, of Covert Road, Hainault, Ilford and Daniel Wallace, 32 and of no fixed address have both previously been charged with the same offences and are currently also remanded into custody, pending future court dates.
