A man has appeared in court after being charged with a burglary in Yalding.

Robert Plowman, 27, of no fixed address was charged following his arrest in Vicarage Road, Yalding at 12.40am on Sunday August 19.

The charge relates to a reported burglary on Yalding Hill.

Mr Plowman appeared by video link before Medway Magistrates' Court on yesterday where he was remanded to Maidstone Crown Court on a date that is yet to be confirmed.
