Man found after Kent Police helicopter search in Maidstone

A man has been safely found following a large scale search mission in Maidstone .

This morning, officers, a police helicopter and Kent Fire and Rescue Service were deployed to find the man.

A Kent Police spokesman said: "Kent Police officers attended Maidstone town centre after 10am after a man was reporting missing.

"Following a search, which was assisted by a police helicopter and Kent Search and Rescue, the man was safely located."
