Two remain in custody after man stabbed in Fairmeadow, Maidstone

A man has been taken to hospital with stab wounds as two suspects remain in custody in connection with the incident.

Police were called to reports of a disturbance outside a property in Fairmeadow, Maidstone just before 3am yesterday (September 1).

Officers found a man injured with stab wounds.

He was later taken to hospital where his injuries are said not to be life-threatening.

Officers initially arrested three people – two men aged, 37 and 18, and a 20-year-old woman.

The woman has since been released without charge, police have confirmed.

The two men remain in custody while investigations continue.
