Police officers have visited a school after reports of a man filming children from his car.

Pupils of Leeds and Broomfield Primary School and their parents reported seeing a man acting suspiciously in a black Toyota Hilux pickup truck on Wednesday morning as they were walking on Lower Street, Leeds, near Maidstone.

Police are investigating

Witnesses said the driver held his mobile phone out the window of his car and appeared to be recording the children.

People reported they saw a police officer outside the school at around 8.30am this morning.

A spokeswoman for the school confirmed they spoke to pupils about what they saw and she believed the man had only started appearing at the school in the last few days.
