The air ambulance has landed on the roof of a multi-storey car park, after a man suffered a fall.

Police assisted South East Coast Ambulance Service at around 4.30pm, after it was reported he fell inside The Mall, at the Chequers Centre in Maidstone.

The man's been taken to hospital but it's not known how serious his injuries are at this stage.

The helicopter landed on the eighth floor of the car park.
