Police were called to Barker Road, Maidstone yesterday evening following reports that a man was trying the doors of cars waiting in traffic.

The incident happened at about 5.43pm.

The man, dressed blue vest, black tracksuit trousers and a grey hat underneath a white towel, was spoken to by police and at his own request, taken by ambulance to Maidstone Hospital.
