Fee Foreman was celebrating a unique achievement on Monday night after a rare 170 checkout.

It is the first time in 30 years that a player from the Miken Darts League has finished with a maximum three-dart score.

Marden Village Club player Foreman, pictured, threw two triple 20s and finished with a bullseye to win the leg against the Gun & Spitroast pub from Horsmonden.

"It was a shock and when the bullseye went in. I was running around with my arms aloft," said Foreman.

"It’s the highlight of my darts career and I have been playing for 40 years."

He added: "I offered to buy both teams the drinks but they got me a few instead!"
