Missing mum is found safe

A 42-year-old mother of two children who disappeared after popping out on a shopping trip has been found safe and well.
Gillian Crockett, of Forge Meadow, Harrietsham, vanished after saying she was going into Maidstone.
Members of her family had not heard from her since Wednesday, April 19.
A spokesman for Kent Police said that following media coverage she was found safe and well at an address in Maidstone where she had been staying with a friend.
He thanked the press and members of the public for their support.

Police and friends had been particularly concerned because Miss Crockett had missed her son Michael's 17th birthday on Thursday and had left with nothing – not even a coat.
