Police arrest three men from Gravesend following alleged mobile phone thefts at Gallery Nightclub in Bank Street, Maidstone

Three men have been released on bail after being arrested on suspicion of stealing two mobile phones.

Kent Police attended the Gallery Nightclub, in Maidstone’s Bank Street, at 2.50am on Sunday following reports that a group of men had been seen acting suspiciously.

It is alleged they were found with two phones they could not account for, one of which belonging to a woman who reported her phone had been stolen.

Two 21-year-old men and a 20-year-old man, all from Gravesend, were arrested at the scene.

They have since bailed until Monday, June 1.

Officers would now like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the alleged incident at Gallery, or who has information about any other thefts of mobile telephones from other pubs and nightclubs since the end of March.
