There were shouts of "We love you Katie" from fans as model turned writer and businesswoman Katie Price signed copies of her fourth autobiography.

Hundreds queued to get Katie, former glamour model Jordan, to sign their copy of the book, You Only Live Once, at WHSmith in Week Street, Maidstone, on Friday, November 26.

She was at the store for almost an hour and her arrival caused a commotion in the town centre.

Doormen kept control of the number of people going into the store and the queue to see her stretched along Week Street.

Her visit came the same day it was announced her ex-husband Peter Andre had been admitted to hospital with stomach pains.

Miss Price said on Twitter: "Hope Pete is OK."
