The M20 was closed London-bound following a crash between Ashford and Maidstone.

National Highways says traffic was stopped due to a collision between two vehicles between Junction 9 and Junction 8.

All emergency services were called to the scene.

Two lanes have since been reopened but one remained closed whilst recovery and clear up work took place.

Drivers were advised there was a 30-minute delay on approach with three miles of congestion.

As of 6.30pm, the vehicles had been recovered and all lanes had been reopened.
