One lane has been closed on a busy motorway following a crash involving two cars.

The accident happened on the westbound carriageway between J9 for the A20 at Ashford and J8 for the A20 at Leeds Castle and Maidstone services.

Lane one, of the three, is closed approximately halfway between the two junctions following the accident which happened at around 8.10am.
