A KENT man has found himself in the spotlight as a calendar pin-up in a women's magazine.

Greg Morgan, 31, from Grove Green, Maidstone, was chosen as one of 12 winners of last year's Best Magazine Hunky Husbands calendar competition, after his wife Karen sent his photo off without telling him.

Every month the 12 winners have taken their turn being featured in the women's magazine, and this month Mr Morgan is featured in the Christmas edition.

Mr Morgan, now known as Mr December, says that he is finding public exposure a bit daunting.

"It is fine as I suppose it is a compliment, and of course I would like to think that my wife is just proud of me - but I have taken a lot of stick for this at work and from friends," he said.

"This is typical of my wife - she is always having a laugh at my expense. The photo shoot was quite glamorous though, as we went to a proper studio to do it, and we did win a weekend away in London as well. It has been embarrassing but it could have been worse."
