Onlookers delivered vital first aid after a serious crash involving two cars outside the Bull pub in Penenden Heath.

Witnesses described a group responding to the accident at the green, after hearing a loud crash and screams at just after 7.30pm last night.

The group also diverted traffic until the emergency services arrived.

It's believed several police cars were called out, plus an ambulance.

A police spokesman said it had been reported a blue Peugeot 307 was in a crash with a grey Vauxhall Insignia.

The Peugeot driver then fled the scene.

Two female passengers were injured and dealt with by an ambulance crew.
