A man arrested on suspicion of murdering Jamie Simmons, who tragically died after being stabbed in the heart, has been released without charge.
Mr Simmons, 29, was killed following an "altercation" in Cambridge Crescent in Shepway, Maidstone on Monday, May 4.
Paramedics desperately tried to save the father-of-three but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The family of Mr Simmons have paid tribute to the 'brilliant dad'.
He had recently become a father for the third time when his fiancée Charlotte Muddiman gave birth to daughter Dolcie 15 weeks ago.
Kieron Nicholson, 29, of Vicerage Lane, East Farleigh was charged with his murder.
Nicholson appeared in Maidstone Crown Court via video link last month but has yet to enter a plea.
Another 29-year-old man from Maidstone was arrested on suspicion of murder and a woman in her 20s from the Tonbridge area was arrested in connection with the incident but was later released without charge.
The man was bailed and asked to return to the police station yesterday. He has also been released without charge.
An inquest into Mr Simmons' death opened last month, but was adjourned, subject to the police investigation.
