An inquest has opened into the death of a 21-year-old student who was stabbed to death on a night out.
Andre Bent, of Thurlby Road, West Norwood, suffered a fatal wound to his chest in the early hours of Sunday, August 25, in Maidstone.
He was pronounced dead at the scene in Bank Street.
He died from trauma due to the wound caused by stabbing.
The mass brawl happened after a performance from rapper MoStack, real name Montell Daley, at Gallery Nightclub.
Four other people were injured, three of which were stabbed.
A 16-year-old has been charged with murder, three counts of attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon.
A total of eight people have been arrested in connection with the incident.
The inquest has been suspended due to the criminal investigation.
Since the night of violence Gallery has closed pending a full inquiry while tribute events including one at nearby club The Source Bar have been organised.
