More than 100 Year 7s in shiny new uniforms have started at Maidstone’s latest academy.

The St Augustine’s Academy, formerly Astor of Hever School in Oakwood Park, Maidstone, welcomed 108 new Year 7 students and other returning pupils.

Principal Peter Midwinter said: “The new start is going very well indeed. There have been no glitches with the uniform and there has been a phenomenal partnership with parents and our local community.”
