Britain's oldest cleaner will return to work next week after breaking her hip.
Doctors have given Marjorie Rose, 96, the green light to go back to Maidstone's The Mall shopping centre, where she has been cleaning for more than 30 years.
Shoppers will be able to say hello on Thursday - her first day back.
Her grandson, David Gregory, 37, said: "She is chomping at the bit to go back. She would have been back at the start of January if she could."
The great-grandmother fell over some cones hidden behind a wall by the Carriage Museum in Mill Street in December.
Her hip bone broke and she had to have the joint replaced at Tunbridge Wells Hospital.
Since then she has been signed off from work while she recovers from the operation.
The well-known employee started off using a zimmer frame to get around but was soon back on her feet without support.
During her time off she has walking around town and enjoyed going to breakfast with her daughter who has been helping take care of her.
The Mall Maidstone has been approached for comment.
