Queues are forming on the M20 after a car overturned.

Traffic is building on the westbound stretch of the motorway near Maidstone after the crash which involved a lorry and a car.

One lane is closed between Junction 9 for Ashford and Junction 8 for Leeds Castle and the A20.

It comes just two days after the same stretch of road was closed for several hours after a car caught fire.

Police confirmed the car was on its roof.

It was recovered and the lane reopened at around 5.15pm.

No injuries were reported.
