A man arrested on suspicion of raping a woman at a Maidstone beauty spot has been released pending further investigation.

The 21-year-old, from Maidstone, was arrested shortly after the Mote Park attack was reported to police.

It is alleged to have happened between 1am and 2am on Saturday.
