A woman has been taken to hospital after a collision in Maidstone this afternoon.

Emergency services were called to the A26 Tonbridge Road just before 3pm, following reports of a collision between a pedestrian and a car.

The road was closed whilst emergency services worked at the scene, and there were reports of delays in the area.

Police said the woman was taken to hospital for treatment, but that the extent of her injuries are not yet known.
