Russel Burrdett-Deakin, 17, was reported missing from his home near Sutton Road, Maidstone, on September 6.

He is of slim build and when he was last seen had dark hair with blue colourings.

He was wearing red or maroon bottoms, along with a red Champion hooded top, and carrying a black Under Armor rucksack.

Extensive searches have been carried out by police in the surrounding area, including locations near the River Medway, the town’s parks and footpaths, and public transport systems.

People have been urged to check their gardens and garages and visitors to public spaces who frequent areas such as Mote Park and Whatman Park, are also urged to be on high alert.

Mum Michelle Hallford-Nye said: "My son is missing and I am going out of my mind not knowing where he is, but knowing that he is not at home, where he should be, with us. I beg you Russel to please make contact with anyone.

"If you are hiding somewhere please just let us know you are safe. I’m pleading that to anyone who may know where my son is to contact us, or the police.

"Russel, you are not in any trouble I promise. We just want to help you and make sure you know how much we care.

I’d like to express my gratitude for every share on Kent Police’s Facebook appeal and to all of Russel’s friends that have been searching for 14 days now.

"Please continue sharing and ensuring Russel’s face is well known, he has to be somewhere."

Anyone who may have information on Russel’s whereabouts should call 999, quoting 06-1384.
