Police are appealing for witnesses after a shop burglary in Maidstone.

A store on the northern end of Week Street was broken into around 4.07am on Wednesday morning.

Patrols attended and a crowbar was found at the scene along with tool marks on the rear of the door. Cigarettes had been placed in boxes and a quantity of cash taken from the till.

Police would like to hear from anyone who saw anything suspicious leading up to or after the incident and in particular a blue Audi A4 which was seen leaving the area at the time of the incident and was later seen driving up Bluebelll Hill.
