Police were called to a park following reports of a disturbance involving a large group of people.

Crews attended the scene at Penenden Heath in Maidstone after being called at 9.10pm last night.

A number of people reported to have been involved had left the scene when police arrived at the park off Boxley Road.

There were no serious injuries reported and no arrests have been made.

A spokesman said inquiries are ongoing.
