Police called to reports of people 'acting suspiciously' in Vinters Park area of Maidstone

Officers were called to reports of "people acting suspiciously" on a residential street.

Social media reports claimed that a group had been seen with weapons in Snowdon Avenue, Maidstone, and other areas of the Vinters Park estate.

It was reported to police that a number of people may have been carrying objects, such as sticks or bats.

When officers arrived however, no suspects were found.

Police say inquiries are ongoing.
