Woman falls ill at Maidstone Morrisons

A woman was taken to hospital today after falling ill in a supermarket.
The shopper suffered a “medical incident” at Morrisons in Sutton Road, Maidstone, just after 1pm.
Police, fire and ambulance were all called to the store.
A police spokesman said: “Police were called at 1pm to a report of a medical incident at a store in St Saviours Road (off Sutton Road) in Maidstone.
“Officers attended the scene alongside the South East Coast Ambulance Service. A woman was taken to a local hospital for treatment.”
A spokesman from the ambulance service said: "Ambulance crews attended the scene following reports a person had collapsed in the car park of Morrisons in Saviours Road.
"The patient, who required resuscitation, was then taken to Maidstone District Hospital in a serious condition."
