An 11-year-old girl who went missing yesterday evening has been found safe and well.

Alicia Betteridge sparked a major hunt when she vanished after leaving her home in Coxheath to play with friends in Huntington Road at 8pm.

Her disappearance prompted police to launch an appeal for the public to help find her.

Officers confirmed Alicia was found safe at 1.30am today.
