An elderly man who went missing from Maidstone has been found safe and well.

Officers launched an appeal after Patrick Morgan hadn't been seen for more than 12 hours.

The 76-year-old was last seen at 2.30pm yesterday in Heath Road. It is thought he may have left the location on a Dawes Galaxy light blue bicycle with black pannier bags.

He was found around 9am on Christmas Day.
